The Services Specialist will develop and manage customer relationships directly, as well as indirectly, through outside and inside sales and support staff. The Specialist will provide technical training and value-added solutions, product pricing and availability directly to customers as well as to customers via other Horizon personnel.
The Services Specialist is responsible for the marketing and sales of technical support services and training services including Horizon’s and vendors technical support and training resources and solutions, with the objective of increased sales, gross and net profit and exceptional customer service.
As a part of the sales team, the Services Specialists consults with customers to identify and design a training, support or maintenance solution to meet the customer’s needs. Responsible for the proposal and sale of support, training and technical solutions that maximize Horizon’s and Vendors Training services; Field and Technical support.
The Services Specialist is Horizon’s primary technical support for training services, technical and maintenance on site and phone support service and emergency preventative plans. This position provides technical consultation and assistance to customers and Horizon outside sales staff and will research training solutions/technical questions with product vendors.
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of electrical product lines and associated services, including automation products, with the desire and ability to add value to the customer’s processes.
