The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible to build and administer B2B digital marketing campaigns, conduct tests and analyze workflows, convert traffic into leads, nurture leads to close and identify areas and tactics for improvement. Collaborates with internal personnel to map the right content to the right place in the buying cycle and create integrated campaigns to deepen prospect/customer engagement across our products and services.
Serve as the HubSpot subject matter expert to streamline and simplify time consuming repetitive tasks including automating online marketing campaigns and sales leads to increase revenue and maximize efficiency.
Create concepts and content for relevant marketing campaigns.
Keep current with industry trends and topics to ensure effective external and internal communications to innovate new tactics and quickly adjust based on results.
Define and execute improvements to the marketing campaigns to enhance lead/opportunity conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
Develop, monitor, test, and optimize automated campaigns for top of the funnel programs designed to generate new leads.
Collaborate with the product and content team to create content and landing pages that are tailored to key audiences and personas.
Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
Review and adjust the design, content, targeting and messaging of email communications; A/B test email variations.
Develop geotargeted Pay Per Click (PPC), ads, retargeting and remarketing programs to support marketing automation campaign initiatives with internal personnel.
Monitor activity and results in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Lead Module ─ manage, monitor, and report on lead activities and Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) opportunities ensuring timely follow-up is happening; oversee lead management issues.
Assist in defining audience groups, align messaging and manage communication frequency and priority.
Automate and improve data integrity and data management initiatives, including segmentation implementation and analysis, list management, and lead processes.
Establish closed-loop analytics to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine and improve process to convert customers.
Perform day-to-day system maintenance and configuration of the marketing automation process.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least five years of marketing automation experience preferred. Experience with inbound marketing software and customer relationship management software required. HubSpot Enterprise and Tour de Force a plus.
Experience with scaling demand generation programs, operating in an integrated campaign environment that includes Pay Per Click (PPC), display and social ad platforms preferred.
Critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) preferred.
Any of the following desired certifications a plus: HubSpot Inbound Certification, Email Messaging Optimization Certification, Landing Page Optimization Certification, Lead Management Certification, Online Testing Certification, Advanced Interactive Marketing and Measurement, Integrated Online Strategies, Master Certification in Internet Marketing, Search Engine Marketing and Usability.
